This month we are doing
something special at Idealist,
and we need your help
to spread the word.
Here is the story.
Posting a job on Idealist
ourselves, and this small fee
keeps us afloat) but tarting today,
and through the end of June,
all job postings on idealist are
free for any nonprofit organization.
We are doing this so that any
organization can try us at no cost,
and ur ultimate goal is to bring you
every nonprofit job that is open
around the country (as well as
internships and volunteer oppor-
tunities, which are always free).
And here is where we need
your help. If you know anyone
who works at a onprofit organi-
zation, please share this message
with them. And if you have a way
to get the word out to friends
and colleagues across he sector
through a mailing list, a blog,
or any other way - please
tell them that Idealist is free
for the whole month of June.

I got an email from Trinidad today. It's shocking, the story I have heard.
It's time child safety becomes a top priority worldwide. Children have been under attack without protection from those that harm them for too long. This, more than any other single factor, accounts for the high drug abuse, shattered lives, broken families, and a high suicide rate.The days of trusting everyone who has a smile around our children are over. All too often, the culprit is a boyfriend of a single mother, or a stepfather. Single mothers, trying to feel their empty lives with someone, even just to babysit while they go to work. Again, a child pays the price with her life. Rapped, beaten, chopped up, by someone her mother loved and trusted, her man, her child's heartless killer.
A little girl, Her name was Hope and she was only 8 years old. Dead.
